Costa Blanca has a reputation as being paradise!. Coupled with the mildest of winter climates and excellent sporting and leisure facilities. Further south, the cliffs are a creamy white tint from which the Costa Blanca (white coast) derives its name.
Covered with Mediterranean scrub and coastal pine, this is an area whose romantic lighthouses and ancient ruins encapsulate the history and soul of the Mediterranean. While the coast boasts excellent transport facilities of motorways, railways, ferry ports and 3 international airports, Costa Blanca is one of the most stunning and unspoilt areas in Europe. With average temperatures between 18 & 28 degrees the climate is not only healthy-rated one of the best by the World Health Organisation- but also made just for you, with Hotels, health and fitness spas, 19 golf courses and every watersport imaginable.
With a year round average temperature of around 22ºC, the Costa Blanca is probably one of the perfect places to practice golf on the Mediterranean coast. Dubbed "Spain's Golf Coast" by developers, the Costa Blanca is entering a new phase of growth with a marked increase in golf development. There are already 15 championship courses located between Alicante and La Manga and with 10 more courses due to be developed or already being constructed, this eastern Costa is well on the way to rivaling the Costa del Sol for golf property and golf investment opportunities. With the possibility of a televised PGA event. The area not only has a enviable year-round climate, encouraging winter golfing and thus year-round rentals for golf property owners, it also has excellent access with daily flights to and from all major European cities to three airports (Alicante, Valencia and Murcia).

The inland town of Orihuela has been a settlement of several civilisations that have left their mark on this city, whose lands are fruitful because of the River Segura that flows through it. The centre is full of truly beautiful works of architecture, not just churches and public buildings, but houses of past nobility making it a wonderful Spanish town to buy a property.
The city has its own historical sense and unforgettable legends that can be seen in the flamboyant annual processions of the Moors and Christians and the richness of other fiestas. The surrounding fertile lands and the closeness of the sea mean that the gastronomy of Orihuela offers the pleasures of the healthy Mediterranean diet. Many patisseries combine fiestas with gastronomy by providing traditional pastries and sweets that add a special flavour to life.

From the airport car park take the 1st turn Rt to Alicante/Cartagena - the road then forks - take the Rt one to Cartagena and pass through the tunnel - you are then on the N332 coast road.
Stay on this road passing Santa Pola, La Marina, Guardamar and Torrevieja (approx 35 Kms).
You will come to a roundabout with the TorreHoven Hotel on the left - go straight over that one and the next one with Lidl on the right.
Take the next slip road Rt at Max Gym and go up to the roundabout with Mercadona on the left - go straight over into C/Pablo Picasso and round into C/Nicholas De Bussi to the mini roundabout at the Celtic Isle.

Orihuela is located 22 km from Murcia and 59 Km from Alicante, at the Spanish Mediterranean sea. 20 kilometres from Orihuela, past San Miguel, Bigastro and the Salinas, lies the Orihuela Costa. The coast is 16 kilometres long which its cliffs, clear waters and sandy beaches: Punta Prima, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Playa Flamenca Beach and Mil Palmeras.
The Orihuela Costa is a peaceful environment with a perfect balance between the green spaces (Campoamor's Meadow pinadas) and urbanisations. Orihuela Costa beaches obtained the blue flag (environmental norms of the European Community).The beach of Cabo Roig is situated in a zone "semiurbana". To the north lies Campoamor's Meadow and to the South the Zenia beach.
Cabo Roig's beach is approx. 420 metres long and 18 m. wide. The beach is a kind of a cove and access is possible by ramp or staircase. If you love long walks, this beach offers lovers of the sun and of the sea a great opportunity to enjoy the Costa Blanca life. Water sports (windsurf, waterski, etc.) is also easy to practice. Facilities at Cabo Roig include parking, public telephone, special accesses for disabled, bus stop, first-aid station as well as numerous restaurants where you can try delicious local dishes.
La Zenia is one of Orihuela's most crowded beaches situated between Playa Flamenca and Cabo Roig. La Zenia beach is 350 metres long. Its situation, services and conservation have made it worthy of a blue flag. The beach at La Zenia offers special accesses for disabled, public lavatories and showers, first-aid station, public telephone, parking, taxi and bus stop, game zone, etc...
The Playa flamenca beach is 150 metres long and very quiet. It is an open beach of sand situated between Punta Prima and La Zenia beach.Playa flamenca beach has a first-aid station, game zone, public telephone, public lavatories and showers, as well as numerous restaurants.
Campoamor is an open beach with thin sand and has an esplanade as well as numerous services that allow for games and sports. It has a lovely harbour which provides idal services for any kind of water sports (sailing, surfing,…). The beach is endowed with special accesses for handicapped and of runways. The beach has public lavatories, showers, first-aid station, a restaurant (highly recommended).

Campo de Golf Villa Martin
1. Villamartin is without doubt one of the finest golf and residential complexes on the whole of the Costa Blanca. The course is not too long, and is well adapted to the natural surroundings and terrain. It is a varied course, although the fact that it is located in the lowest part of a valley means it is not very undulating. There is Mediterranean vegetation in abundance as well as thick woods, although they rarely come into play. The greens are not too small and each hole is completely different. The difficulty of this course lies in having to avoid a natural precipice and several water hazards on some holes.
2. Las Ramblas is really spectacular, elevated tees, narrow fairways and lightning greens. This is a great test of golf and will be a memorable game. Las Ramblas means the old river beds, you will see plenty of these during your round! This 18-holer is on mountainous ground which makes the course very interesting for players who like to take a few risks. As it is very mountainous, it calls for difficult strokes. It is worth mentioning the many trees that surround the course, and the water hazards. There are slopes are all along the course and although some of them are very difficult, they make the game more attractive and interesting. The course is not too long and has wonderful views. Accuracy is required
