|
Murcia is one of the regions with the greatest yearly number of sunny days, an average temperature of 21º C, and 250 km of shoreline over two seas: the Minor and the Mediterranean. Its environment is noted for being a land of contrasts, with high mountain natural parks, southern basins with steppe landscapes, and wonderful beaches such as those of La Manga, Mazarrón and Calblanque.
Murcia´s coastline is rich and diverse, with strips of rough waters and coves with placid and serene beaches. Dunes, salt flats, wetlands... The Murcia Region coastline contains a considerable number of areas of unquestionable environmental interest, with many of them being Natural Protected Areas. Places where you can still find native flora and fauna species such as the Phoenician juniper (Sabina mora), a native tree variety, and the "fartet" (Aphanius iberus), a minute and highly unusual fish, the only one of its kind.
The diversity of landscapes, a privileged climate and its cultural and historical richness make Murcia the perfect region to live in and enjoy the outdoors, practice water sports in the Minor Sea, explore its mountains, go hiking, horse riding, shopping, rural tourism... and, of course, play golf.

The second resort to be completed by Polaris World, La Torre Golf Resort, is characterized by truly Mediterranean-style, white-washed properties and wide avenues flanked by the most varied plant life. A universe within arm´s reach, and the peace of mind of feeling protected by an efficient security service. That´s what La Torre Golf Resort is like. Structured around a large, 18 holes golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, the 1.4 km2 La Torre Golf Resort, features a total of 2,648 homes with different characteristics: villas, semi-detached houses and luxury apartments, distributed over a closed perimeter. It features a wonderful Town Centre structured around a splendid lake, offering the most comprehensive services such as a large supermarket, a bilingual school and a hospital.
Facilities on La Torre include:
18 hole golf course, driving range, 5 star hotel, gymnasium, convention centre, swimming pools, club house, town centre, supermarket, hairdressers, travel agents, bars, restaurants, playground, tennis courts.
Residents and guests may also enjoy the facilities and golf at Mar Menor and El Valle Golf Resorts just 15 minutes away. Why not use the Shuttle bus service that tours between all the Polarisworld Golf Resort sites several times a day.

Murcia and airports: From Alicante 45mins, From San Javier 20mins.
Directions from Alicante
Follow the signs for Cartagena and follow the A7/E15 motorway towards Murcia/Cartagena.
Take Exit 77 onto AP7 signposted Torrevieja, Cartagena.
There are two tolls 2.85 euros each.
Continue through the two tolls until JUNCTION 782 MURCIA, SUCINA (C3319) turn off right.
Directions from San Javier
Follow road straight across roundabouts to AP7 follow the sign to ALICANTE.
Continue until JUNCTION 782 MURCIA, SUCINA (C3319) turn off right and go left onto C3319.
Then you can follow the map below from Junction 782. Here are the directions below:
From Junction 782
Continue for 16 kilometres towards Murcia, it is a dual carriageway.
When you pass a windmill look for a junction marked SUCINA, EL GARRUCHA, you will see a BBQ restaurant on the other side of the road.
Continue to a mini roundabout and turn left over a bridge over the dual carriageway, to another mini-roundabout. Take the second exit and take the road to your right marked URBANIZACION it is in front of greenhouses and runs parallel with the dual carriageway.
After 2.5 kilometres a sign to your right says URBANIZACION and you will see the entrance to La Torre Golf Resort.

Furnished to an exceptionally high standard, will accommodate 6 people with use of sofa-bed. But is ideal with plenty of room for 4 people.
Lounge:
Corner unit sofa converts to double-bed, coffee table, indoor water feature, 42"wall mounted Plasma screen T.V. DVD player with selection of discs, Sky T.V.(limited channels) Router for internet access, Air-conditioning, gas central heating.
Bedroom One:
Set up as a double but will configure into 2 singles, Visco mattresses (mold to the body) with a zip to join together. Air-conditioning, ceiling fan, radiator, fitted wardrobe, secure safety deposit box, dresser/mirror, hairdryer, telephone.
(Please note: calls to all Polaris extensions & other La Torre residents are free of charge. Outside line is NOT AVAILABLE, phone boxes are located at Supermarket.)
Bedroom Two:
Set up as a twin, Visco mattresses, Air-conditioning, ceiling fan, radiator, fitted wardrobe, dresser/mirror.
Bathroom:
Bath/Shower with 3 panelled sliding door shower screen, safety hand rail grips, WC, bidet, ornate vanity unit and heated towel rail.
Kitchen/Utility:
Cooker hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery, utensils, glassware, pans, washing machine, airer, iron/ironing board, water cooler.
Terrace:
Solid Wood dining table seats 6, outdoor water feature, top of the range gas barbecue, very large corner lounger, coffee table, all enclosed/or open with our fabulous glass curtains.

Resort Entry/Exit can only be made through the security gates. The La Torre Golf Resort is secure with 24-hour security patrol and vehicle number plate recognition at point of entry, ensuring a feeling of safety and peace of mind.
Apartment block entry is controlled by key or intercom system. Secure underground parking with automated access doors and lift access to apartment. Access to the pool is via a few steps, and we suggest that this would not be ideal for wheelchairs.
