This region of Spain is situated on the South East coast.
The property is in a stunning location close to 2 seas with an exceptional climate (average of 320 days of sunshine each year) encouraging top sports people from all over the world. A breathtaking 'get away from it all' location Playa Paraiso is a paradise for golfing, swimming and all water sports on the beautiful calm waters of the Mar Menor. Within 5/10 mins drive are the unspoilt Mediterranean beaches, the Calblanque National Park (a protected nature reserve) and the world famous La Manga golf, tennis and football complex. The historic cities of Cartegena and Murcia and the picturesque fishing port of Cabo de Palos, with its excellent fish restaurants overlooking the harbour are all within driving distance. Just 5 mins drive (15 mins stroll along our beach) to the bottom of the very long 'La Manga strip' with all its shops bars and restaurants.

|
There are several sailing and scuba diving schools in the nearby village of Cabo de Palos. There are also daily markets in the surrounding villages which sell a vast selection of clothes, shoes, fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, household goods and much more.
Playa Paraiso/Playa Honda has a selection of shops and restaurants just a short stroll along the beach offering all types of cuisine. A short car ride away opens up the choice of national and international cuisine at very reasonable prices.
Closeby is La Manga Club, which is open all the year round. Famous for its golf, but also offering a good selection of shops, restaurants, evening entertainment, casino,outdoor activities and spa facilities.
You can also find tennis courts, mini golf and childrens play area within 2 mins walk and roller skating and a Go-kart track a very short car ride away.

From Murcia (San Javier) Airport to Playa Paraiso
Follow signs for AP7.
Take 2nd exit at roundabout, go straight onto next roundabout, take 3rd exit signposted (AP7) to Cartegena and Los Alcazares, at the next roundabout take exit for AP7 Cartegena.
Proceed on AP7 past 3 Los Alcazares exits (Norte, Centro, Sur).
·Continue on, now follow signs to LA MANGA (Not Cartagena) take right exit to La Manga – on this exit road take the 2nd right hand turn to La Manga – road goes in a circle to a sudden GIVE WAY - onto the main road which goes under a bridge. Get in left lane for LA MANGA.
Go over a bridge and you are now on slip road to MU312 La Manga, so you need to give way (don’t bear right – this is a service road to a garage)
Keep on La Manga road (pass exits for places like El Algar, La Union, Llano del Beal, Portman). After exit for Los Belones and exit for Calblanque (National Park) take the next exit for PLAYA HONDA.
At top of exit road, STOP then turn left over bridge, follow round to ‘T’ junction.
Turn left; go on past Playa Honda exit to junction where you must stop. Here you need to turn left – signposted Playa Paraiso – beware you will be crossing two roads.

The large front and back patios and solarium provide plenty of outdoor space for barbecues, entertaining or just enjoying the wonderful sunshine that this area of Spain has. All equipped with table and chairs and sun-loungers. The back patio has an outside shower to cool you down on those hot days whilst the front has an outside tap to wash those sandy feet on return from the beach. Young children's play area 3 mins walk away.The gently sloping beach and non-tidal waters of the Mar Menor make it ideal for young children. The shared gated community pool is situated at the back of our block and is for use by residents of our manzana only. You are welcome to use our lilos, bats and balls etc.
Whilst you can park on the front patio there is ample parking outside the house reserved for residents only

Sofa bed in living room. This is a no smoking property.

The ground floor of the house could be rented separately - sleeping 4 - for £30 less that the tariff prices (not peak season)
Cot, high chair, push chair and other baby equipment available for hire from our managing agents.
Bath towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels.
You are welcome to use our DVD's, videos, games or swap your books.
Kindly replace any broken items please - we will deduct from security deposit for any large breakages.
It is possible to enoy a weeks holiday here without a car, particularly in the summer months, but a car opens up more places and things to do. Airport transfers available from Murcia airport (please ask about cost) .
Alicante airport is about 1 1/2 hours drive away an often offers a more competitive airfare if you don't mind the longer drive.
Please note - if the dates you require are unavailable please ask about other accomodation as we have contacts with other holiday home owners in the area who may have vacancies.
