Casa Carabella farmhouse is situated in the picturesque Almanzora valley in south east Spain. This is a farming area where oranges, lemons, pomegranates, olives and almonds are grown. Our farmhouse overlooks this peaceful valley and the village. On the opposite side of the valley can be found the beautiful Sierra De Los Filabres range of mountains. A new motorway is being constructed within 3k of us......once this is opened in 2010 it will considerably reduce the drive time to both the coast (25mins at present) and other villages and towns further up the valley.

We are located on the opposite side of the rambla (dried river bed) from Almanzora village where there are 2 bars, 2 banks (outside cash machine) small supermarket, fresh baked bread shops, estate agents, doctor and chemist. The thriving market town of Albox is within a 5min drive. It offers many bars and Spanish, English, Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants. A huge market is held in the middle of the town every Tuesday morning....everything from fresh vegatables to a pair of shoes can be bought there.

From Almeria airport take the E15 towards Murcia. Take the A334 marked Albox, Baza. Drive directly to Albox where you will see a large BP service station on your left. Park here and phone us.....we will meet you and direct you to our property.

As we are situated on a raised area of land there are plenty of views from the shaded front patio. The farmhouse faces south looking towards nearby Almanzora village and mountains beyond. We offer secure parking within a gated area. We are not situated on a main road, so see few vehicles passing by which adds to the tranquility of this property.

The property has recently been professionally renovated keeping the Spanish influence. The rooms are spacious and there is a separate guest lounge in which Sky TV, DVD. Internet access and Skype phone is located together with the patio area, both of which may be used by both self catering and bed and breakfast guests.

We are within an easy drive of several market towns ie Cantoria, Arboleas, Albox, Oula de Rio and Vera.
Our venue is not suited to children as the property is situated on a saddle back.
Please note if you suffer from allergies that we have several cats and a friendly young spaniel.
