Gale which has a lovely sandy beach is approximately 20 minutes drive from the villa. Other facilities for entertaining children nearby include Krazy World, Zoo Marine and the water amusement park Aqualand. The historic town of Silves, with its cobbled streets, good choice of restaurants, shops and supermarkets is about 15 minutes drive.

The garden is gated and there is room for parking in the driveway. The villa has a garden all around, a barbecue and sitting area. The villa has a very pleasant garden which includes trees, flowers and shrubs. The swimming pool measures 10m x 5m, 0.9m – 1.8m deep with graduating steps and an outside pool shower. Barbecue area.

Casa Joel is a single storey villa and has the benefit of air conditioning. The villa is well furnished and equipped to provide the following accommodation for up to six people and a cot.

The historical town of Silves is well worth visiting. There is a medieval castle, museum and cathedral and plenty of interesting shops, market and restaurants/bars. The mountains of Monchique are not too far away. Spend a day in Lagos where there are excursions by boat around the fascinating rock formations around the coast and visits to see the dolphins out at sea. There is plenty to do for all ages.
There is a local restaurant within walking distance of Casa Joel.

Casa Joel is approximately 40 minutes drive from Faro Airport and 2 1/2hrs drive from Lisbon Airport. A car would be essential.
