Behind the coastal strip rising into the hills is the quiet small town of Santa Barbara de Nexe. Only 20 minutes from the airport and with easy access to all beaches, resorts and golf courses is Casa Magnolia. Bars and restaurants are within a very short drive offering a mix of genuine Portuguese and European food. Santa Barbara de Nexe is 15 minutes walk and about 3 minutes by car. Places of interest to visit include, Faro, Loule, Vilamoura, Silves, Spain (40 minutes) etc.

The nearest beach is Faro Island, which is around 20 mins drive. This beach is suitable for families and is well supplied with cafes, restaurants and bars.

In Santa Barbara there is a Bank, Cash Machine, Baker, Post Office, small supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Large supermarkets and shops are easily accessed in Faro. A welcome pack is available to your requirements at a reasonable cost. Car hire is recommended and can be arranged.
