The farmhouse was constructed in local stone three hundred years ago. It has undergone major renovations in recent years, but still holds its traditional charm. It has a fascinating history and atmosphere. Its name "Casa Della Pia" holds reference to the village midwife who lived in and worked from the house many years ago.

There is a traditional bar in the village and at the end of a sun baked day, Sorana is the perfect location to take a refreshing evening stroll.
