Sicily is a popular tourist attraction for its Greek Ruins including the famous temples in Agrigento, mosaics in Piazza Armerina, Greek Theaters both in Syracuse, as well as in Taormina, where several concerts are held each year. From Taormina it is quite easy to go Island hopping at the Aeolian Islands to visit Vulcano & Stromboli, which are famous for the volcanoes, as well as Lipari and Panarea, famous for their shopping. If you like to go walking or hiking, there are daily excursions to Mt.Etna, one of the world's most known vulcanoes still in eruption. Night time attractions also take tourists to see the lava.

From the Catania Airport take the bus that runs nearly each hour up to 2100. The cost is approximately 5 Euro.
If you are driving, take the A19 Highway towards Messina, Exit on Taormina. Follow the directions towards "Taormina Town Center". Once you are in the Town Center facing the main shopping street (Corso Umberto), turn right and you are on Via Circonvallazione.

Just a few steps away from the main shopping street of Corso Umberto, gourmet restaurants, night clubs and bars. Although it is in the town center there is very little noise. It is walking distance from cable cars that in less than 5 minutes take you directly to the best beaches of the coast. If you prefer taking the bus, the house is located next to several bus stops, although most people prefer renting mopeds.

The master bedroom is very spacious, fully air conditioned and elegantly decorated with Sicilian antique bed and dressers. The living room occupies the entire other room, where a full kitchen is also located. There is a comfortable sofa sleeper bed for 2, dining table for 4 people, and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, refrigerator, freezer, 4 burners and wash machine. Very luminous. Bathroom is brand new with shower stall, bidet and sink and washing machine. Air conditioning and electric heaters available.

Going to the beach is quite easy. Just a 5 min. walk will take you directly to the cable cars, which take you to the best Taormina beaches on the coast for a moderate cost.
Driving is not necessarily a must in Taormina, since everyone usually walks everywhere.
