TRAVEL INFORMATION: Once arriving in Milan-Malpensa Airport, from the terminal you can travel by bus to Como in 40 minutes (Appx. $12/E11) , then travel by boat or bus again to laglio(E$2/4), where "Villa Lide" is located. A car can be hired/rented from Malpensa Airport. ( appx. E120 )The drive is approximately 40-45 minutes.

Built in Moltrasio Stone in the 1940’s, in the “Rationalist” style so typical of Lake Como architecture, the villa’s beautiful terraced gardens overhang the lake shore.
There is a spacious garage, which can easily accommodate 2 cars plus several motor-bikes.
In addition, the property also has a spacious boathouse with hoist as well as a mooring – with a slipway, motorised boat hoist, ramp and trailer for a sail boat.

The layout of the three floors of the Villa is as follows:
The ground floor is currently used as a recreation area – comprising gymnasium, large bathroom with 2-seater Teuco sauna, TV room with double sofa bed and extensive windows overlooking the garden and jacuzzi.
The first floor comprises a spacious living and reception room with open fireplace, dining room with bow window overlooking the lake, kitchen, bathroom and washbasin with separate W.C., shower and bidet, single bedroom/study. A generous lakeside terrace provides an ideal setting for “al fresco” dining. The grand, spiral staircase in green marble leads to the second floor.
The second floor has 4 large double bedrooms (one en suite), with 2 bathrooms (one with bath and shower cubicle, the other with shower cubicle only). Three of the four bedrooms open onto the large, lakeside terrace, which runs the length of the building.
