The town itself has many pubs and restaurants from Pub Grub to Gourmet . It is a bustling town with a lovely harbour which lies on the River Colligan. The towns origins can be traced back to the 3rd centuary A.D. It is ideally placed for touring West Waterford. It is also only an hour from Cork city and 40 mins from Waterford City.

From Cork head to Waterford on the N25. Turn off the N25 at the Park Hotel. Drive straight onto Square. Turn left at Church vere left onto Mitchell Street and house is on the left.
From Waterford head for Dungarvan on the N25 when you reach Dungarvan instructions as above.
From Rosslare head for New Ross on the N25 onto Waterford and then as above
