Our house offers a surrounding where the guests are not in the midst of the hectic situation of one of the near-by sea-side resorts, but enables them to enjoy the peace of the French country life. The ocean, however, is not far away - 15 minutes by car bring you to a beach at the bay of Marennes, after 35 minutes you are in La Palmyre or on the beautiful beaches of the Ile d'Oléron. For shopping of all kind Rochefort (12 min.) and La Rochelle (40 min.) are easily reachable.

Champagne is a small sympathetic village with 500 inh., perfect panoramic view from the house on its charmful silhouette with the old romanic church, in the village there is a baker - otherwise one can get everything in the neighbouring small town Pont l'Abbé d'Arnoult (2.5 km)

As a former farm Le Péré provide much space, a very large yard, close large pasture, 5-m-swimming pool with (nearly) chemistry-free UV disinfection for exclusive use, terrace, garden, the place is completely enclosed (with walls, hedges, and/or the former stable buildings), there are many possibilities for playing (basketball, football, table tennis) on the ground.

The house originates from 1860 and we largely tried to keep the character of the old farm. Nevertheless there is modern comfort, like the sanitary appliances, heating, and the kitchen equipment. So we provide a large, cosy holiday house which sleeps up to 10, pets are allowed, 140 square meters for living, 4 bedrooms (1 double bed/2 floor beds/1 double bed/1 double bed) - additionally a double bed as a sleeping couch in the living room.
