LOC EGUINER ST- THEGONNEC
The cottage is located in the village of Loc Eguiner St Thegonnec in the region of Finisterre within Brittany. The village is situated in a beautiful rural setting but still offers the convenience of an all in one bar/restaurant/shop. There are lovely walks around the whole area.
Beautiful coastal areas with golden sands are within a 20 minute drive north of the Village. The coastal towns of St-Pol-de-Leon, Carantec and Roscoff are really worth a visit. Within a 15 minutes drive is the pretty town of Morlaix, with half timbered buildings, cobbled streets, stunning viaduct and moorings. There are fantastic beaches further along the coast heading towards the town of Lannion, in the resorts of Plestin-les-Greves and Locquirec.
Heading south from the village, approximately 10-15 minutes drive, you can visit the Monts Darree national park. It has some beautiful rugged scenery, with moorlands and lakes. There is a whole number of visitor attractions within the area. Please make use of the tourist literature available within the cottage.
The cottage itself is 200 years old and offers much character, including exposed beams, wood burning fire and stone walls. Being newly renovated, the cottage is freshly decorated with carpets, kitchen units and bahroom/shower suite. There is satellite television with English channels, a music system with CD, tape and radio. Convector heating is offered throughout the accommodation together with heated towel rail in the bathroom.
The cottage offers two double bedrooms, one with a double bed the other with two single beds. Each room is furnished with country style furniture, including wardrobe, drawers, bedside cupboard bedside lighting radio alarm clock and large mirror. Lovely views are offered from each of the bedrooms.
The living room is large with brand new comfortable furniture, offering bags of character. There are lovely views over the village and surrounding countryside.
The kitchen diner is very large and well equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, stainless steel oven, hob and extractor. There is an abundance of cook ware, cutlery and crockery. There is an ironing board and steam iron available for use. A traditional Breton table and chairs offers comfortable seating for 4 people.
French doors open out from the kitchen into a secluded back garden. The garden has been recently landscaped and offers a terrace with wooden garden furniture.
There is parking for two cars directly in front of the property.

Directions
From Roscoff (30 mins)
Take the D58 in the direction of Morlaix
Take the N12 Auto express dual carriage in the direction of Brest.
You will travel for several miles, take the exit after the service station marked
St-Thegonnec.
Take a sharp left over the bridge from the slip road
Proceed on over two round abouts following the signs for Loc-Eguiner St-
Tegonnec, continue straight on passed the Sanders building plant for a few
miles, the road begins to wind.
You will then see a grouping of buildings with a little discoteque on the left hand
side of the road.
Turn left into the D111 road adjacent to the Discoteque.
Continue up the road until you see the Bar and the mini round about.
Take the second exit off the mini roundabout up the hill
The cottage is facing you as you drive up the hill, the house no. is 11.
From Dinard Air Port (Pletuit) (90 mins)
Follow the road out of the airport turning right on to the D766
Go through Pleurtuit continuing straight on following the direction of Dinan this
will be for several miles
Take the N176 auto express road in the direction of Dinan
Continue on the N176 passed Dinan
The N176 then merges into the N12 but ensure you take the\N12 in the direction
of St Brieuc
Continue to drive on the N12 passed St Brieuc and passed Morlaix
Take the exit marked St Thegonnec and follow the directions as above.
From Brest Airport (20 Mins)
Turn right as you exit the airport on to the D25
Take the N12 autoexpress in the direction of Morlaix
Take the exit marked St Thegonnect and follow the directions as above.
