Cottage situated on the banks of the River Aulne, just outside pretty market town. Wonderfully secluded with direct access to the river. Fishing, canoeing, cycling, walking available. Bird watching enthusiasts can enjoy kingfishers, herons, and birds of prey.

Fish in the river at the bottom of our garden, which is one of the best Salmon rivers in France, or walk for miles along its banks! The owner is a professional fishing guide (English-speaking) and fly casting instructor. River, lake, and sea fishing trips on owner’s boat can be booked.
There is canoe hire nearby, plenty of horse riding schools, another way to explore the lovely countryside. Also pedalo and mountain bike hire are available locally.
We are ½ hour away from the lovely mediaeval city of Quimper and 40 minutes to the beautiful beaches of the South Coast and the Crozon peninsula.
Visit some of the lovely restaurants to enjoy the local cuisine.

We are 5 minutes from the pretty town of Chateauneuf-du-Faou with 2 supermarkets, a fortnightly market, bakers, restaurants, banks etc. Chateauneuf is on the Route de Peintures as one of the local churches has beautiful frescoes painted by the artist Paul Serusier.

A newly-refurbished 2 bedroom gîte which can sleep up to 5 people and a baby. Kitchen/Diner - the new, fully-fitted kitchen is equipped with washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and gas cooker. There is also a CD/radio player in the dining area. The sitting room has two settees one of which is a sofa bed. A new T.V. and DVD player is also provided. The bathroom has a large shower with hydro-jets, wash basin and adjacent toilet.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other can be supplied with either another double or two-single beds. Both bedrooms come with ample hanging and drawer space.
