Cour Jamot is located in the Pays D'Auge region of Calvados in Normandy, France. It is very close to Livarot where they make cheese. This area is full of interesting places to visit such as chateaux, calavados distilleries, beaches, walks, manor houses to name but a few.

Livarot is jsut a few minutes drive from the house and is a pretty town. There are bakeries, a supermarket, butchers, traiteur, gift shops, post office and all services available as well as the Graindorge cheese factory which is open to the public to visit and watch how they make the Livarot cheese (and it's free entry too)!

Kitchen has wooden cupboards with granite worktops, fridge freezer, microwave, split level cooker (electric oven and gas hob) and dishwasher, toaster and kettle and plenty of cutlery and crockery. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and indoor clothes line. (There is also a rotary line for use outside). In the lounge there is a CD player (bring own CD's), satellite TV (English), video player and selection of videos and various board games.

Cour Jamot is a detached property set in 3 acres of garden and grounds which are completely private and not overlooked. There is a childrens play area with play equipment, an uncovered fish pond (young children would need to be supervised), and a covered well. There is also a patio area with a large barbeque and herb garden. There is a basket ball net inthe garden and outdoor play equipment including, badminton, boules and footballs. There are outside tables and chairs with parasols and sunloungers.

The house is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. All beds have comfotable mattresses (no lumps!), There is an open fire and the dining area seats 8 people. There is additional dining for 8 people in the oak framed sunlounge which overlooks the large garden. The inside of the house is full of character and has many beams.
