1. Finding your ideal holiday escape
Using our quick search facility
Our quick search facility, which appears on the right-hand side of most pages, can be used to find a property using its property number. This property number can be found at the top of the details page of each property advert.
Using our interactive maps
Our search page provides a facility for you to specify which location you want to find properties in or near. If you are unsure about the location of a region within a country, click on the map symbol provided. Some countries may not provide the map symbol, as a map may not yet be available.
Selecting which activities you want to be available to the property
Most properties have a range of activities in the regional vacinity. Using our search facility, you can select which activities you want to be near the property you intend to stay in. The properties returned by your search will have all the activities you had selected. Please note that selecting 'Skiing' and 'Golf', for example, will return properties where both these activities are available. It will not return properties where either one or the other is available.
Selecting which setting that you want the property to be in
Our search facility provides you with the ability to locate properties in a particular 'setting'. Similar to selecting various activities, properties returned by your search will be in the all of the 'settings' you had selected.
Specifying the occupancy that the property should cater for
All properties illustrate how many people it can cater for. This is based purely on how many adults the property sleeps up to.
What if I have specific requirements, e.g. easy access for disabled persons ?
Some properties on our site cater for specific requirements and these can be included, as a necessary requirement, when you use our search facility.
Filtering your search results
If your search returns too many properties, please go back to the search page and chosen additional search criteria. The search results page also includes the ability to sort properties in various orders, so please also use this to help you find what you are looking for.

Checking the availability of a property
When you reach the details page for a particular property, you can click on the 'Availability' button provided. We encourage the owners of each property to keep this calendar up to date and also provide you with the ability to specify the dates between which you intend to travel on the 'Contact Owner' form. We recommend you contact the owner of the property at your earliest convenience to confirm its availability. In most cases the property can only be reserved after the owner has received payment.
How do I book a property ?
We do not take part in any of the booking procedure. We provide advertising space for holiday home owners and allow users of this website to contact them directly without any interference from us. Once you have found a property that you like, checked its availability and are happy with the tariffs, proceed to use the 'Contact Owner' form. This will send your details directly to the owner and provide you with their contact details. We encourage owners to check regularly for requests from our site and you should expect to receive a reply from them within 48 hours.
